Unique Wedding Favor Ideas You Haven’t Seen Before

I love weddings! What’s not to love? Blushing brides, doting grooms, catered food, lots of dancing. And did I mention the presents?

I’m also a huge fan of small gestures that make a big impression.

It takes only a little effort on your part to show your guests you put extra thought into their gift.

Today I’m going to share some unique wedding favor ideas with you so your guests will have something they never saw before at any other wedding they’ve ever gone to.

1) Mini Paintings for Wedding Favors

This is my favorite idea because it uses art as favors and everyone loves art, especially original pieces!

You can go with smaller paintings or choose canvases that are just right.

2) Candy Bar Wedding Favors

Candy bars are a classic.

But don’t just settle for the typical candy bar at your wedding.

Instead, offer your guests something that tastes good while being beautiful to look at too! You can find or order sugar flowers to decorate your candy buffet, and you’ll have everyone talking about it after the wedding.

And who doesn’t love dessert?

3) Wine Wedding Favors

A bottle of wine is an easy choice when it comes to favors because almost anyone will drink it.

That’s why I created these cute tags for my friends who chose wine as their wedding favor.

Incorporating the labels into the favors themselves makes this idea unique.

For extra points, pair each wine with a custom label or ribbon to truly make this favor your own.

4) Miniature Beer Cans as Wedding Favors

Unique Wedding Favor Ideas You Haven't Seen Before 2

These miniature beer cans are so cute, and they’re also a practical wedding favor idea because everyone loves beer!

Who doesn’t want their very own mini can of suds?

These ones are decorated with labels featuring my illustrated version of the couple’s names.

How cool would these be at your next party?

Or for any day you need a little extra cheer!

5) Pencil Wedding Favors

I loved drawing these pencils based on the bride and groom’s favorite colors.

They’re festive without being too loud, which is what drew me to them.

Plus it’s always good to have an emergency pencil on hand.

6) Miniature Art Boards as Wedding Favors

Who wouldn’t want a custom board with their own favorite prints on it? I love this idea because it shows guests you put care into choosing your wedding favor, and they’ll get to take home an original illustration by you!

7) Suncatchers as Wedding Favors

Suncatchers (or stained glass) are such a gorgeous idea for favors. This one features the couple’s name, and I think it would be extra special if you incorporated your wedding colors into the design as well!

8) Miniature Journals as Wedding Favors

Last but not least: miniature journals ! These ones feature illustrated versions of each person’s name and they’re filled with blank pages ready to be written on. Wouldn’t these make a lovely keepsake for guests?

I hope you found inspiration in today’s article. Let me know which idea is your favorite or share your unique wedding favor ideas below! And don’t forget to check out this post about how to put together a candy buffet that will have everyone raving .

9.) Custom Cookie Favors

Who doesn’t love cookies? And it’s even better when they’re personalized with your initials

. You can make them white chocolate or sugar cookies and use icing to create the letters.

These ones feature an illustrated version of the couple’s names on top of a tray of cookies!

10.) Custom Wedding Cake Serving Set

A serving set is a practical favor that you’ll get plenty of use from, but consider getting one that features your wedding colors or symbolizes something about your relationship or wedding theme in some way.

11.) Custom M&M’s as Wedding Favors

This one is my favorite because it’s such a nice surprise.

You can find little jars like this at Michaels or Etsy, fill them with colorful m&m’s, and attach custom labels featuring your illustrated names !

It takes minimal effort but will make guests feel special.

12) Wooden Spoons as Wedding Favors

These wooden spoons are too cute!

They look like something that would be sold in Anthropologie or another hipster shop, but you can make them yourself and fill them with ingredients to create a special treat for guests.
